3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service:

• To shorten URLs that link to illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
• To distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code
• To engage in phishing, scamming, or fraudulent activities
• To spam or send unsolicited communications
• To violate any applicable laws or regulations
• To infringe upon intellectual property rights of others

• To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

3.2 Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not use our Service to shorten URLs that link to:

• Child sexual abuse material or content that exploits minors
• Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism
• Malware, viruses, or phishing sites
• Pirated content or copyright-infringing material
• Illegal drugs, weapons, or other contraband
• Adult content (pornography, explicit sexual content)
• Hate speech or content that promotes violence or discrimination
• Scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent offers

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure fair access to our Service for all users, we implement rate limits:

• Free Users: Limited to 10 URL shortenings per hour per IP address
• Registered Users: May have higher limits based on account type

We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time. Attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in permanent suspension of access to the Service.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, functionality, code, and content, is owned by DJURL.COM and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

You retain all rights to the URLs you submit. By using our Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your URLs for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Link Expiration and Deletion

Shortened URLs remain active indefinitely unless:

• You request deletion of the URL
• The URL is found to violate these Terms of Service
• The URL has been inactive for an extended period (we will provide notice)
• We determine the URL poses a security or legal risk

We reserve the right to delete any shortened URL at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Privacy and Data Collection

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9.2 No Liability for Content

We are not responsible for the content of URLs shortened through our Service or the websites they link to. We do not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or legality of any content accessed through shortened URLs.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DJURL.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DJURL.COM operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for violations of intellectual property rights.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability
